At My Local Vet we believe in helping our clients give their pets the best life possible! That’s why we developed the Thrive for Life program. It’s everything you need to protect your pet from dangerous parasites and debilitating diseases in one comprehensive and cost-effective plan.

In addition to annual vaccination, worming, flea and tick prevention, the Thrive for Life program includes health checks which provide an excellent opportunity for our Vets to assess body weight, joint comfort, oral hygiene and discuss nutrition to suit your pet’s health profile and lifestyle.

Thrive for Life also includes annual blood and urine screening tests which enable our Vets to diagnose and treat disease early, often leading to a better outcome for our patients!

To make optimal pet health as simple as possible your pet’s preventatives are delivered direct to your door when required at no additional cost! We offer a monthly or annual payment option for your convenience.

As our pets get older their needs change. Kitten and Puppy Plans revert to adult plans after 12 months. Indoor and outdoor kitten plans are priced differently due to different vaccine requirements. A one-off joining fee of $38 is applicable to all plans.

  • Intestinal worms: Popantel (3 monthly)
  • Heartworm: Proheart Injection (annually with vaccination)
  • Paralysis Ticks & Fleas: Bravecto Spot On (6 monthly)

 

Puppies

  • Intestinal worms: Popantel (monthly for 5 months then 3 monthly)
  • Heartworm: Proheart Injection (two injections 3 months apart)
  • Paralysis Ticks & Fleas: Nexgard (monthly for 6 months then Bravecto Spot On 6 monthly)

CATS

Adults

  • Intestinal Worms: Profender Spot On (3 monthly)
  • Paralysis Ticks & Fleas: Bravecto Spot On (3 monthly)

Kittens

  • Intestinal worms: Profender Spot On (monthly for 2 doses, 2 months later, then 3 monthly)
  • Paralysis Ticks & Fleas: Bravecto Spot On (3 monthly)
