Goodna Terms & Conditions

Everyday Pet Care Plans are provided to help pet owners improve and maintain the health of their pets.  Each plan is designed by your vet and administered by Knose Care Pty Ltd.  Veterinary services are provided by your vet and Knose Care Pty Ltd will supply your payment processing and online system. 

1. There is no waiting period required to join. Benefits and discounts are applied to your pet’s account immediately upon joining with some exceptions outlined below. These are available for 12 months from the date joined.
2. Plans are not a form of pet insurance. Pet insurance is designed primarily for illnesses and injuries. The plans are intended to maintain and improve your pet’s overall health with comprehensive preventative and health check services.
3. Membership is limited to the nominated Pet (domesticated canine or feline) per annual membership and benefits are not transferable between pets. Separate memberships may be purchased for each additional Pet. 
4. Benefits are set out in the relevant brochure, online or as communicated in writing to you.
5. Necessary vaccines, if included, are determined by your vet. For details regarding the vaccines necessary for your pet please discuss with your vet.
6. Wellness Blood Test and $200 off Dental Clean + X-rays will become available after three monthly payments have been received.
7. A sedation surcharge will apply for Anal Glands and Nail clips services if needed.
8. Preventative discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. If there is a supplier discount promotion the higher discount will be applied and not added together.
9. Free Consults and Nail Clips will have a fair use/if needed policy.
10. Free consultations include standard, extended and nurse consultations. Consultations other than the inclusions will incur a full fee.
11. Services provided are on a fair use basis for the benefit of all members. Breaches of fair use of veterinary services may result in termination of subscription by your vet. In circumstances where your vet considers usage of a benefit to be unreasonable, your vet may:
    1. notify you that the usage is unreasonable; and
    2. if the unreasonable usage continues after notification, your vet may without any further notice, terminate the membership.
12. The plans are designed to maintain the long-term health of your pet. Plan services are provided at significant discounts so if you cancel within a plan period, services may have been performed that have not been fully paid for. In this situation you are responsible for the remaining payments on the plan or the full retail value for services or discounts used under the plan less payments made (whichever is less). To cancel please call or visit the practice.
13. If your pet passes away or your wish to cancel for any reason it is your responsibility to contact your vet.
14. Discounts and benefits included in the program are not to be used in conjunction with any other offer. They are available as outlined in the brochure and T&C’s and available for the 12 month subscription period.
15. Any additional goods, services, consultations and/or treatments provided outside the membership entitlements will be payable according to the usual current fee schedule.
16. Members may transfer the membership with the pet in circumstances where the pet is sold or given away and the transferee agrees to the terms of membership and provides their payment details and charging authority to the vet and Knose.
17. The membership fees may be charged monthly to a credit/debit card, as an upfront payment or other method as agreed with you when joining. 
18. At the end of the 12-month period, your subscription will automatically renew. If you wish to not continue the membership past this period, please call the clinic. A renewal notice will be sent to the members recorded e-mail address 28 days prior to renewal. 
19. Membership benefits may change from time to time at the discretion of the vet. Similarly, the cost of the plan is subject to change yearly. If there are any changes to the plans, you will be notified at least 28 days in advance. 
20. You agree to receive communication from Knose.
21. You agree and authorise for the purpose of managing your pet’s care that your vet will provide Knose with your personal contact details, details of your pet and payment information and to be subject to the Knose user policies for the purpose of managing your membership. 
22. By applying for or accepting membership you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
23. The total liability of any party or damage or loss shall be limited to any outstanding payments relating to the Plans.  You agree that no party shall be liable to the other parties for any direct, indirect, incidental, special consequential or exemplary damages which may be incurred by a party whatever the cause and including but not limited to any loss resulting from a pet’s injury or death or personal injury and any other intangible loss.
